meet the designer
Hi there! I’m Caitlyn, the floral designer behind Birdie’s Blooms. My love for floral design began in college, and in March 2023 I officially launched Birdie’s Blooms, specializing in weddings and events. In my very first year, I had the honor of creating flowers for 20 incredible brides—everything from intimate bridal bouquets to full-service weddings featuring centerpieces, ceremony florals, and large-scale installations.
Since then, Birdie’s Blooms has continued to grow and flourish, and I’m grateful to be part of so many meaningful celebrations. My favorite part of being a wedding florist is taking your inspiration and vision and transforming it into florals that feel uniquely you. There’s nothing quite like seeing every detail come together and watching your dream day bloom into reality.
When I’m not surrounded by flowers, I’m probably with my fiancé, Dalton! You’ll often find us at a Cardinals game, enjoying live music at a local venue, or spending quality time with our family.
education
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management with a minor in Science and Agricultural Communications from the University of Missouri. In addition, I have a certificate in Floral Artistry and Management. During my time at Mizzou, I worked as a student florist at the campus flower shop, Tiger Garden. Through the weddings and event team, my love for floral designed bloomed (literally!). During my senior year, I was fortunate to take a study abroad trip to study Floral Design in the Netherlands with the Boerma Insituut!
